A TV celebrity and film icon are set to star in an East Cambridgeshire pantomime.
Ricky Rayment of The Only Way Is Essex fame will appear on stage as part of Viva Soham’s production of 'Beauty & The Beast'.
Also in the show is David Learner, who is known for his roles in 'Knightmare' and 'Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy'.
Thanks to donations from a number of local businesses, 130 free tickets will be offered to financially and socially disadvantaged families in the community.
The Viva Team will work together with the local primary schools, food banks and the social prescriber to identify those most in need.
Samantha Dodd, theatre and charity operations coordinator, said: “Viva believes that every child should be able to access the magic of theatre, regardless of their financial or social situation.
“And, with the help of sponsorship from several local businesses, we are able to make this happen.”
The free ticket initiative follows Viva's school roadshow which, last term, offered a variety of free theatre tours and workshops to several local primary schools.
During these, children were able to explore the theatre, dress up in costumes and even have a go operating some of the equipment.
They took part in theatre workshops in their own schools, learning theatre craft skills which culminated in producing a Shakespeare play in a day.

This term, the free roadshow's will see Dame Dolly Dumb-Belle and Professor Philippe Flopp visit local schools as part of the next phase of Viva’s Outreach Project.
The pupils will learn about the history of pantomime and there will be jokes and music aplenty.
