Rail passengers are urged to check before they travel ahead of disruption likely to be caused by engineering works in the region.
Track renewal work will take place between Ely North junction and Chettisham, which will see 1,500 metres of new track laid, as well as ballast and sleepers, and the replacement of three sets of points.
The work has been described as "vital" as it will ensure railway operation remains safe and efficient in the area.
Other work taking place includes new rail near Waterbeach, new signalling equipment being installed, track tamping at Ely station, and general maintenance of equipment.
Passengers travelling on Great Northern, Thameslink, Greater Anglia, CrossCounty and East Midlands Railway services will be affected on the following dates:
October 4 and 5 (Saturday and Sunday)
- On October 4, rail services will be affected between Cambridge and Peterborough, and King's Lynn via Ely - train services will run between Ely and Norwich
- On October 5, rail services will be affected between Ely and Peterborough, and Norwich - a revised train service will operate between Ely and King's Lynn
October 11 and 12 (Saturday and Sunday)
- Rail services will be affected between Ely and Peterborough, King's Lynn and Norwich for the weekend
October 18 and 19 (Saturday and Sunday)
- Rail services will be affected between Cambridge North and Peterborough, King's Lynn and Thetford for the weekend
October 25 and 26 (Saturday and Sunday)
- Rail services will be affected between Cambridge North and Peterborough, King's Lynn and Thetford for the weekend
November 1 and 2 (Saturday and Sunday)
- Rail services will be affected between Cambridge North and Peterborough, King's Lynn and Thetford for the weekend
November 16 (Sunday)
- Rail services will be affected between Ely and Peterborough
Rail replacement services will operate between affected stations to allow passengers to complete their journey on these dates.
Some rail journeys may need to be completed by a different rail operator.
Passengers should check ticket acceptance with other operators before they travel.
Level crossing are also set to be closed while the work takes place.
The level crossings on Ely Road, Queen Adelaide, and Lynn Road, near Chettisham, will be closed each weekend from October 4 until November 16.
Closures will start at 10pm on the Friday night until 6am on the following Monday.
Clayway and Second Drive level crossings will also be closed each weekend from October 4 until November 16.
Diversion routes will be in place.
