Littleport has been described as a "little pus-filled town" by a YouTuber who specialises in making videos on what he thinks of various towns across the country.
Known as Turd Towns, the YouTuber told the Ely Standard that he spent just over a week in Cambridgeshire visiting as many towns, cities, and even villages as he could.

Unwilling to reveal his real name or exact location in the West Country Turdy (as he signs himself in emails), explained he started his videos way back in 2011, but has really been focused on creating one for each county since 2019.
He claims that his work has inspired many other YouTubers who create similar videos on places up and down the country.
His recent visit to Cambridgeshire means he has now been to all the East Anglian counties, and it is fair to say he was not totally unimpressed by what he discovered here.
He said he always spends time researching a county before visiting and draws up a list of places to go before he arrives.
His visits can also change his view of a place. For instance, March was on his list for the Cambridgeshire video, but when he got there, he found it was "half-way decent" and said he was impressed with the way the town centre looked.
However, he is pretty scathing in his assessment of what he lists as the top five Turd Towns in Cambridgeshire.

He said it is unclear whether it is a town or a village and said it is "either the largest village in England or it is the most pointless town in the country".
Turdy claims: "Nobody wants to be here, its sole purpose is to house people who cannot afford Ely or Cambridge."
He said: "In a county where lots of the towns are stunning, Littleport certainly breaks that mould because everything is either broken or mouldy."
His overall view of Cambridgeshire was that it was a "mixed bag" with plenty of beauty, although nothing compared to Norfolk and Suffolk.
He mentions that racial tension appears prevalent in the county, something he would not normally talk about, but he felt it was newsworthy here.
Turdy says Littleport has made his top five list because "somehow how despite being a small town, or maybe a village, it has the most crime per resident out of Cambridgeshire's two major turd towns, with 100 crimes per 1,000 residents.
"This needs some investigating because it's strange. Before 2019, the crime rate here was what you would expect from a village, consistent, low, and acceptable, then something happened that has caused an 80 per cent increase in crimes, and it has remained that way ever since."
He continues: "That really was my main gripe with the place because nothing else noteworthy happens here.
"I have been to some bland and pointless places in my time, but Littleport might take the biscuit for lack of style points.
"I walked about for hours and hours, desperate to find something. This place is so boring, completely lacking in character."
