The Ely branch of a national restaurant chain has been showing off its new look following a recent refit.
PizzaExpress, in High Street, has been in the city for 20 years and was recently remodelled and had its layout updated.
The pizzeria’s general manager Ben Rouse says his team of 27 dedicated team members are looking forward to welcoming returning and new customers.

He said: "I’ve grown up in Ely and am very passionate about our local area, so I’m very proud to lead our PizzaExpress Ely team.
“With the restaurant’s updated layout, our team can't wait to show off our new-look – they love nothing more than serving up pizza with pizzazz to our customers and providing a memorable dining experience.”
The new-look restaurant also includes vibrant artwork by the late PizzaExpress founder Peter Boizot.
Diners will still be able to watch the pizza chefs, known as pizzaiolos, knead and flare their pizza dough.
The very first PizzaExpress opened in Soho in 1965.
From there, it expanded over the years to become one of the country’s most well-known restaurant chains.
