Clybourne Park, a razor-sharp satire in two acts, lifting the lid on race and real estate in a fictional Chicago neighbourhood, comes to the Cambridge Arts Theatre next week.

Set just before the swinging sixties, a black family move into a suburban white enclave, triggering predictable mutterings from the neighbours.

Fifty years on, we return to the same house in 2009 as gentrification sets in and the roles are reversed.

Clybourne Park runs from Monday 9 to Saturday 14 May for a series of 2.30pm and 7.45pm performances.

Tickets, which range from £18 to £33 (including a £3 per-ticket booking fee) can be purchased from www.cambridgeartstheatre.com or by calling the box office: 01223 503333.
