The Cambridge University American Stage Tour is to showcase a preview of its 2015 show, The Taming of the Shrew, at Ely Cathedral this month.

The group, established under the patronage of Dame Judi Dench in 2000, is one of the major international theatre tours of the University of Cambridge.

The aim of CAST, now in its sixteenth year, is to bring the work of Shakespeare to as wide an audience as possible.

This year’s production is The Taming of the Shrew and it will be directed by Kennedy Bloomer.

The preview will be held at Ely Cathedral on Thursday, August 27 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £10 for adults or £8 for students and are available from www.elycathedral.org.
