Run the rule over election candidates at hustings

Voters will be given the chance to grill prospective candidates for the upcoming General Election at a specially arranged hustings, in Ely.

Ely Cathedral Business Group is holding a Question Time-style event and election hustings with parliamentary candidates for the South East Cambridgeshire constituency on March 5.

The event is taking place in Ely Cathedral.

Invited to attend are Conservative Lucy Frazer, Liberal Democrat Jonathan Chatfield, Labour’s Huw Jones, UKIP’s Deborah Rennie and the Green party candidate Clive Semmens.

Organisers have said that any other candidates who declare between now and the event will also be invited to attend.

The questions will start at 7pm but guests are invited to have a glass of wine and network with business leaders from 6.30pm.

All are welcome and attendance is free of charge. Organisers do ask however that people visit the website and complete an online booking form prior to attending www.elycathedralbusinessgroup.org
