Prickwillow Ploughing Festival returns next month with live music, archery, classic cars, nature trails, alpacas and, of course, ploughing!

Prickwillow Ploughing Festival is set to make its return to the area next month, promising 'a fun day out for all the family'.

With museum engines, traction engines, heavy horse ploughing, tractor ploughing, classic cars, stationary engines, craft demos, RSPB nature trails, alpacas, Bartram’s Brewery, archery and face painting all weekend, there’ll be no shortage of activities for children and adults alike.

There will also be live music on both days with an old time music stage based on the theme of ‘Sons of the Soil’.

On Saturday there will be music from Big Marc, The Tildens, Banjaxeld, Road Dog as well as the Derek Paice Samba Workshop; while on Sunday Half Pirate, Ely Waits, The Crew and The Hobblers will provide the festival’s soundtrack.

The festival takes place at Green Farm, Main Street, Prickwillow, on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October from 10am both days.

Tickets cost £7 for adults, £6 for concessions and accompanied children go free.
