Ely Consort will be hosting a Christmas in Cottenham concert, on Saturday.

The concert takes place from 7.30pm, in All Saints’ Church, High Street, in support of the Singing for Fun group, a new community singing group for older people in the village.

Peter Lancaster, of Ely Consort, said: “We’ll be performing an evening of Advent and Christmas pieces - some familiar, and some not so well known.

“Do come along and enjoy a seasonal favourite, or hear something new, to get you into the festive spirit. We look forward to welcoming you as we perform for the first time in Cottenham.”

Ely Consort is a chamber choir with more than 30 members and was founded in the 1980s.

Tickets are £8 in advance and £10 on door. Under 16s are admitted free. To book, visit www.ticketsource.co.uk/elyconsort or call 01954 251202.
