SARAH MacDonald, conductor of Ely Cathedral Girls’ Choir, gave an organ recital in the cathedral as part of a programme of Sunday afternoon concerts.

Sarah, pictured, was introduced by cathedral assistant organist, Jonathan Lilley. She played three choral preludes by Johann Sebastian Bach, and Symphonie Gothique by Widor.

A camera placed near the organ mean the audience could watch Sarah’s skilfull handling of the four manuals and pedal board.
