CALLING all budding musicians! Would you like to perform at this year’s Ely Folk Festival, one of the top music festivals in the country, alongside some of the best folk musicians around?
Ely Folk Festival, in conjunction with the Ely Standard, is pleased to announce this year’s Ely Folk Festival Band Competition.

The competition is open to amateur solo acts or bands. Closing date for receipt of entries is April 30, 2011. The winning entry will be selected by the folk festival committee and announced by the end of May. The winning entry will open the 2011 festival on the main Ely Folk Festival concert stage on Friday July 8, and receive complimentary weekend tickets to the festival.
