Tickets are now on sale for Viva’s first production of the year, Educating Rita – a classic comedy by Willy Russell which was made famous by Michael Caine and Julie Walters in the 1983 hit film.
It will be performed at The Brook, Soham from Thursday 11 to Saturday 13 February.
Kerry Hibbert who will be playing Rita said of her role: “I auditioned for this role because Rita is such a fascinating, fun character to play and a challenge.
“I’ve enjoyed learning a new accent for the role and I’m looking forward to all the 80’s clothes!”
Rowan Maulder, after performing as Bob Cratchit in Viva’s last performance of A Christmas Carol at St Andrew’s Church, will be playing Dr Frank Bryant.
