THREE authors and a textile maestro will be speaking in Ely this week, as part of the Isle of Ely Arts Festival.
Louise Doughty, who wrote “Whatever Your Love”, will be at St Peter’s Church tonight (Thursday June 20) at 7pm. An entry vouchers costs £5 if booked ahead, and £6 on the door, redeemable against the purchase of her new psychological thriller “Apple Tree Yard”.
Tomorrow, Friday June 23 at 7.30pm, Robert Macfarlane will be talk about his new book “Holloways” at St Peter’s Church, describing his journey through the sandstone of south Dorset. Entry vouchers cost £6/£7.
Textile designer Kaffe Fassett will talk about his new book “Shots and Stripes” in St Peter’s Church on Tuesday at 7.30pm. Entry vouchers cost £6/£7 Historian, author and broadcaster Anna Whitelock is in the city on Wednesday June 26 at Ely library, when the admission voucher costing £6/£7 is redeemable against her new book “Elizabeth’s Bedfellows.”
