Swaffham Bulbeck Summer Theatre stages production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Ruddigore

SWAFFHAM Bulbeck Summer Theatre’s production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s Ruddigore has opened.

The theatre company has been performing colourful and fun performances of Gilbert & Sullivan shows since 1982. Last year, it performed Iolanthe and has been nominated for the National Operatic and Dramatic Association East award in the category ‘Best Musical 2012’.

This year’s show, also entitled The Witch’s Curse, takes place at Theatre in a Barn, Downing Farm, Swaffham Bulbeck. The first show was held last night and runs until Saturday.

Performances are at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets are £9 for tonight’s performance and £10 for June 14-15, with the matinée costing £6.
