Soham Carnival and Heavy Horse Show returns for its 63rd year this bank holiday Monday.
The event, held at the town’s Recreation Ground on May 30, features The Mighty Smith Strong Man Show, hosted by three-time World’s Strongest Man Adrian Smith.
Smith will tear up catalogues, bend nails and walk on broken glass at the carnival’s main arena, before presenting the children’s tug of war competition.
The day begins with the Heavy Horse Show in the main arena from 9am, which features classes for all breeds. The show ends with a grand parade of all of the entries, including the Supreme Champion of the Show.
