THEATRE goers in Ely get the chance for a sneak preview of a Cambridge University production of Shakespeare’s ‘Measure for Measure’ before it goes on to the USA.

The play is being staged in Ely Cathedral by CAST - Cambridge University American Stage Tour - on Monday September 2 at 7.30pm.

Described as “intoxicating, hilarious and tragic by turn,” the production will hurl the audience into a modern day Vienna with vigour and passion. Look forward to a whirlwind of political corruption, sex and scandal, justice and mercy.

The show will also be peformed at the ADC Theatre in Cambridge on September 4, before 18 undergraduates take the peformance to the USA from September 7-28. It returns to the ADC from Octoober 8-12
