The Moscow City Ballet is returning to Cambridge with a new production of Romeo and Juliet.
The company’s exceptionally gifted young dancers, principals, soloists and a talented corps de ballet will be accompanied by a dynamic live orchestra and are appearing at the Corn Exchange on Sunday, from 5pm.
The company’s many international tours have long-established its reputation as one of Russia’s leading ballet companies and previous visits to Cambridge have been greeted with delight from ballet lovers and newcomers alike.
Romeo and Juliet is probably the world’s most famous love story, following the fate of the star-crossed lovers from their first meeting to their tragic deaths.
Set to Prokofiev’s dramatic score, all the vibrancy of Renaissance Verona is brought to life in this powerful production.
Tickets for the event, priced from £27.50-£37.50, are available from www.cornex.co.uk or by calling 01223 357851.
