Rock For Heroes, a fundraising concert in support of Help for Heroes, is being held at the Cresset Theatre in Peterborough this Thursday (April 12) from 7.30pm.
“Combining rock and pop artist across the eras, in celebration of an incredible cause and 100 years since the First World War, this production wants to give back to the men, the women.... the heroes who did so much for so many,” say organisers.
“A concert experience reminiscent of the great charity rock concerts, a fantastic band and incredible timeless classic songs, tonight we sing for the heroes, we will dance for the heroes and together we will “Rock For Heroes.”
There will be music from artists including Dire Straits, Status Quo, Queen, David Bowie, Madonna, Spandau Ballet, Bryan Adams, Elton John, Simple Minds and more.
