Following two years of sell-out shows, folk duo Megson return to the Cambridge Junction on Sunday with their hugely popular Family Folk Show.
Husband and wife duo Stu Hanna and Debbie Hanna blend their infectious mix of heavenly vocals and lush harmonies into a gentle, entertaining concert specially for pre-school children, featuring children’s folk songs old and new from their ‘When I was a Lad’ album.
Three times nominated in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and double winners of the 2011 Spiral Earth Awards Megson draw heavily on their Teesside heritage to create a unique brand of folk music.
In the eight years since Megson began, the duo have played up and down the country, gaining a devoted fan base and selling out many of their extensive tour dates.
Tickets to see Megson perform, which shows at 11.30am and 2.30pm, are available for £6 for children and £10 for adults. Call 01223 511 511 or visit www.junction.co.uk
