More than 200 singers and musicians will come together on Saturday March 12 for a performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s dramatic and fiery Requiem.
The piece will be performed by Peterborough Cathedral Choir, Youth Choir and Festival Chorus with Peterborough Choral Society and the chamber orchestra Queen’s Park Sinfonia, conducted by Steven Grahl, cathedral director of music.
The soloists are Anita Watson, soprano; Jeanette Ager, mezzo; Christopher Steele, tenor and Andrew Mayor, bass.
Tickets range from £15 to £25 (under 18s half price) and are available online via www.peterborough-cathedral.org.uk
