Folk duo Chris While and Julie Matthews are heading to The Village Hall in Upwood on Friday October 14 as part of their autumn tour.
The gig follows the release of their tenth studio album, ‘Shoulder to Shoulder’.
“Their songs cover diverse topics and bridge musical genres, making them difficult to pigeonhole, but after years of drawing on many influences and experiences they have acquired a sound all of their own,” say promoters.
The duo will be supported by a cast of musicians at the gig including a bassist, drummer, guitarist and banjo/fiddle player.
