HIP-hop, spoken word and physical theatre are mixed in the story of Countryboy’s Struggle, being performed at Ely College on Friday June 7 as part of its national tour.
This debut solo show, written and peformed by Maxwell Golden, features 40 characters, and tells the story of rap star, who leaves his native Cornwall and sets off to London to become an MC.
Organisers say the show is “a fast, funny and honest story of one man’s search for a sense of belonging.”
The show, suitable for over 14s, runs from 6.30pm to 8pm. Tickets cost £2 and are available from Ely College main office and ADeC box office on 01353 616991.
