Ely Amateur Dramatic Society will bring ‘Confusions’, a series of “witty and clever short plays” from acclaimed playwright Alan Ayckbourn to life this month.
The three plays will be ‘Mother Figure’, ‘Gosforths Fete’ and ‘Between Mouthfuls’.
Performances will take place at Needham’s Hall, Ely College from 7.30pm on Thursday 27, Friday 28 and Saturday 29 October.
City of Ely Amateur Dramatic Society presented its first play in 1888 and in 2013 celebrated its 125th birthday. ‘Our aim is to produce three performances every year, from comedy to straight drama, musicals to Shakespeare’, say organisers.
Tickets; £9.95 per person, available from https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/elyamateurdramaticsociety or in person at Burrows Bookshop, 9 High Street Passage, Ely, CB6 4NB or call 01353 669759.
