FANS of ballroom and sequence dancing have the chance to trip the light fantastic at Hiam Sports and Social Club in Prickwillow throughout April.
There’s an afternoon tea dance on Sunday April 7, when the music will be provided by David Last. Doors open at 1pm, with dancing between 2pm and 5pm. Entry costs £3.50 for members and £5.50 for non-members; please note the morning dance lesson that day has been cancelled.
The club ensures that dancing is split equally between ballroom and sequence numbers, and there are evening dances on Saturdays April 13 and 20. Chris Booth provides the music on the first occasion, and Bob Watts will play on April 20.
Both evening dances run from 8pm to 11.15pm. Doors open at 7pm, and entry costs £4.50 for members and £6.50 for non members.
