NEW BAND OF THE WEEK
THE SOFT
Falling between Crystal Castles and Caribou with ambient shoegazey electronic tracks, Suffolk’s The Soft are destined to go far, with already Chapel Club and Big Deal supports under their belt despite only a handful of songs on the internet.
ALBUM OF THE WEEK
Veronica Falls - Veronica Falls
Veronica Falls’ self-titled debut LP is an album laced with moments of haunting, dark alt-rock, and at others there’s sweeter guitar pop with catchy, hazy riffs. Not an entirely new sound but still an enjoyable listen nonetheless and a great effort for their debut.
