Ely Amateur Dramatic Society returns to the Old Palace garden at King’s Ely this month to present A Midsummer Night’s Dream, arguably Shakespeare’s most popular comedy.
“Blending timeless humour and poetry with a fresh contemporary setting, the cast of 21 from all over Cambridgeshire will appear in colourful and vibrant costumes,” say the group.
“With a soundtrack which mixes specially composed music with popular music from the last few decades, there is no hotter theatrical ticket in Ely this summer.”
The play runs from Wednesday 16 to Saturday 19 August with performances starting at 7.30pm. Bring seating/blankets and picnics are welcome.
Tickets are £9 from the box office, Burrows Bookshop 01353 669759, or online at £9.95 (including booking fee) via www.ticketsource.co.uk/elyamateurdramaticsociety
