King’s Ely Concert Society is hosting a performance by Charlotte Rowan to launch its twenty-second season,
Rowan will be performing an exciting variety of works from sparkling showpieces to spell-binding lyricism including music by Bach, Elgar, Mendelssohn and Paganini.
Described by the society as a “captivating and compelling artist”, Rowan is in demand both in the UK and in the US as a soloist, orchestral player, and chamber musician. She will be accompanied by her mother, Charlotte Stevenson, on the piano.
The evening is part of King’s Ely Concert Society’s 2014/15 season. The concert takes place on Friday, January 16, at 7.30pm, in King’s Ely’s recital hall.
