The Coal Porters, who describe themselves as the world’s first “alt-bluegrass” act, will perform at The Portland Arms, Cambridge next week.

Demonstrating the power of the fiddle, mandolin, banjo, acoustic guitar and doghouse bass when matched with four-part harmonies and memorable melodies, the concert takes place on Thursday 29.

The group is touring to promote their latest album, No.6.
