THE evergreen tale of the infamous and miserly Mr Scrooge will be brought to life by Ely Amateur Dramatic Society when the group brings Shaun Sutton’s adaptation of a Christmas Carol to life. Production director Gilly Lancaster said: “Our superb ensemble cast, featuring familiar Ely actors and talented newcomers has worked extremely hard alongside the top-notch backstage and technical teams to bring the atmosphere of Dickensian London to life and to bring a little early Christmas cheer to the Ely stage.
