LITTLEPORT'S clinical finishing saw them win a free-flowing match filled with attractive football.

The scoreline perhaps flattered the hosts as Ely held their own for the majority of the match.

But goals from Adam Capel (2), Henry Jennings (2), George Lock (2) and Harry Walker made it six wins out of six for Littleport.

AN excellent performance saw Witchford cruise to victory.

Man of the match Matthew Loades scored a hat-trick, whilst George Smith and Euan Gilmour also marked the scoresheet.

Willingham had some good attempts but were only able to gain one back.

ALEX Theobold hit seven in an awesome Soham United display.

Theobold gave Soham the lead and Reece Peacock made it two.

Cottenham pulled a goal back but Soham defended well and went into half-time 5-1 up.

Soham scored again just after the restart but Cottenham pulled one back.

Theobald then took his goal tally up to seven.

Soham Town Colts 6 Stretham Sporting B 0

SOHAM continued their run of recent form when they fired six past Stretham.

The Colts created the early chances and Kyle Allgood scored the first goal. Kieren Fuller got the next when he calmly passed the ball past the keeper and into the back of the net.

Stretham came out in the second half determined to make a mark on the game, but

Ross Davey made it 3-0 and Conan Isaacson controlled well in front of goal to add two more.

Soham's passing started to shine and Travis Isaacson went on to claim the sixth goal and man of the match award.


Papworth 2 Littleport Town Colts 3

'PORT continued their recent winning streak to record their first away win of the season.

Colt Harvey gave 'Port the lead before Papworth equalised.

Town's second came from Harlee Cater.

'Port dominated the majority of the second half and scored a third through Harvey. Papworth scored a late penalty to close the gap.

Sawston United 4 Haddenham Rovers Colts 1

HADDENHAM suffered a rare defeat.

Few chances were created in the first half, but Haddenham took the lead 10 minutes into the second when Matthew Morton scored his first goal of the season.

Sawston came back strongly and equalised within five minutes and then took the lead two minutes later. Rovers pushed for the equaliser but with the defence now stretched, conceded two late goals.

Camborne 8 Isleham 3

ISLEHAM scored first from a Jordan Neal header, followed by an Aaron Cawley cross-come-shot.

Camborne scored twice in quick succession and again before half-time.

Isleham started well in the second half, levelling the score with a goal from captain Leigh.

Camborne stepped up a gear and scored, and followed it up with four more goals. Isleham man of the match: William Ellis.

Celtic Crusaders 4 Littleport Town 7

'PORT came back from 2-0 down to take a fantastic away win.

Town scored just before half-time through Nico Bishop and the same man scored again early in the second period.

A Bishop penalty put Town ahead but the hosts quickly equalised.

'Port then took complete control of the game when Bishop scored four more goals. Celtic did pull one back but it was not enough.

THE top two teams met in a thrilling encounter.

Soham took the lead through striker Olly Henderson.

Murray King, Luke Sells and Gavin Dunsmore were fighting hard for Soham but Cherry Hinton scored before half-time and started the second half with another goal.

Callum Eley equalised and Murray King put United ahead. Cook made it a two-goal cushion.

SOHAM recorded a decisive win over Milton Colts.

Ryan Saban opened the scoring and it remained 1-0 at the break.

At the start of the second half he doubled his tally from outside the box.

Soham added a third when Simon Murfitt powerfully headed home an Elliot Drewery corner.

Substitute Michae Rola converted the fourth from close range, before setting up Drewery for the fifth goal.
