Ely Tigers under 11s celebrated an excellent season at their annual end of season awards, held at the Downham Road club.
The player of the season award was given to Todd Waters, voted by player’s parents. Most improved player was awarded to Freddie Bowles, and the coaches’ merit award went to Oliver Johnson.
Coach Steve Brown, said: “The under 11s had a good season and have progressed well. The players have all worked so hard this season, and gave it their all. From narrowly missing out on a place in the final of the Saracen’s mini’s festival, to competing well at both the county cup and St Neots festival where they won the fair play trophy, unfortunately missing out on the finals buy a whisker.”
The club is now turning its attentions towards next season. For anyone interested in playing rugby, visit www.pitchero.com/clubs/elytigersrfc
