WITCHAM finally brought their damaging run of losses to an end on Saturday with a solid six wicket win over Dullingham.
A team on a mission from the first ball, Witcham bowled with aggression and purpose to keep the visitors on the back foot from the early stages.
A rear-guard action led by the visiting six and seven threatened to take the polish off of an otherwise strong bowling performance but Witcham rallied and removed Dullingham for just 103. N Jones' 3-12 was the pick of the bowling though Ian Housden's 3-21 was also worthy of note.
Witcham's batting has proved their downfall in recent weeks but it wasn't to be so on this occasion as Nigel Pate (31) and Tyler Philips (24) laid the groundwork for a fine win.
