Ely Sailing Club’s Simon Leeks finished first in two out of three races to seal victory in the annual Whitsun Cup.
On a day of strong gusts of up to 25mph, Leeks kicked off his day with a win after holding off a strong challenge from Chandler Stamford in the opening race.
Stamford would gain revenge by winning the second race, but the placings reversed again in the third, with Leeks coming out on top after another fierce battle.
It was all to play for in the final race, but Simon’s experience took him to victory in the third and final race - and overall - with Stamford coming second and John Wells finishing in third place.
