ELY City travel to Tiptree in the Ridgeons Premier League this weekend looking to breathe life back into their league season.

With their marauding 5-1 victory over Great Shelford in The Cambridge Cup last week The Robins' will be keen to carry some momentum into the Tiptree game with their league form of late being patchy.

Currently in 14th place Ely have not won in the league since the 2-1 victory over Dereham on November 18 and Dennis Lightning's side will be looking to put some distance between themselves and the bottom three from whom they are separated by just three points.

Tiptree meanwhile, sit in 11th place in the league with 27 points; six more than the Robins having played four games less. They come into the game on the back of an impressive 2-0 victory away at Walsham-le-Willows and will prove a tough test for Ely especially as the Robins squad has been hit with a number of injuries and suspensions.
