ELY City travel to Woodbridge United on Saturday knowing that a loss could see them dragged into the relegation mire.
Having lost to bottom side Haverhill Rovers on Tuesday night, Denis Lightning's men missed the chance to put distance between themselves and the sides at the bottom.
As a result, the weekend's game away to third-from-bottom Woodbridge has become a must win for the Robins if they want to bolster their chances of playing in the Ridgeons Premier League next season.
In the corresponding fixture held back in August, Ely picked up a comfortable 2-0 win courtesy of strikes from Martin Westcott and Matthew Lilley. They will have to be on their guard this time though, as Woodbridge come into the game on the back of a 1-0 win over third placed Kirkley and Pakefield.
