ELY City travel to high-flyers Leiston at the weekend looking to bounce-back from a heavy defeat at Wisbech.
Denis Lightning's men have been in fine form of late, but suffered a meteoric sized blip in midweek as they went down 6-1 at struggling Wisbech Town, albeit without five or six first team regulars.
The Robins lofty opponents Leiston, meanwhile, find their season in the balance as they sit just four points off of second position with a number of games in hand. They lost out to Dereham Town in their last match however, and find themselves in danger of losing pace with the top sides should they lose any more matches.
Through a number of cancelled fixtures earlier this season, Ely have yet to face Leiston this season but, with three wins in their last four and the possible return of a couple of key players including Brady Stone and Wayne Goddard, they stand in good stead.
