BUDDING soccer stars were honing their talents at a skills scheme held in Ely this week.
The event, organised by Cambridge City Football Club, attracted 95 youngsters between the ages of five and 13.
The youngsters gathered at the Unwin Ground, home of Ely City FC, over two days, under the watchful eyes of five coaches. The course finished on Tuesday.
Mark Kirby, Cambridge City's football in the community co-ordinator, said: "It was just fun stuff really - mini World Cups and things like that.
"We plan to run another one in the May half-term and a third one in the summer.
