ELY Viking's Olly Watts helped the England Under-16 Korfball team to an impressive second-place finish at the World Youth Championships.
The team, who competed against the best in the world at the tournament held in the Netherlands, impressed and surprised many with a series of key victories, including one over the much-fancied Belgian side.
England scored well through-out the championships and victories over the Czech Republic (11-8), Slovakia (10-0), South Africa (14-3), and Belgium (8-7) helped them through to the final.
Unfortunately for Watts and his national team-mates however, they came up against the might of incumbent champions, the Netherlands, who beat them 17-5 to regain their crown.
