THE final races of the Autumn Handicap sailing series on Sunday saw Gary Ungless, in his Solo, first on handicap, followed by Graham Tory, also in a Solo, who beat third-place Greg Williams and his son Jordan by 16 seconds.
Twelve helms sailed in three separate fleets for class race. First across the line in the Solo fleet was Niall Pearcy, who was closely followed by Alan White.
Three boats started the race in the Enterprise fleet, but two retired, leaving only Hugh and Robbie Marshall to finish.
In the Laser fleet Steve Lane came first, followed by James Adams.
Only eight helms sailed in the final race of the afternoon. Ungless was first across the line in his Solo, narrowly beating Pearcy by six seconds. Third went to Tory after White retired.
