James Knox marshalled the home side's defence magnificently with Joe-Joe Corlito also in fine form.
The introduction of Serifo Balde was to prove decisive, Sports' new powerhouse midfielder converted Harrison Jones' cross to give the hosts the lead and Jones completed the scoring after a counter attack late on.
