Haddenham soon took control of the match, with Josh Lowe scoring twice inside the first 10 minutes before Jake Alsop scored and an own goal made it 4-0 at the break. Newmarket battled hard in the second quarter but fell further behind as man of the match Matthew Beary and Nicholas Threadgold took it to 6-0. Threadgold scored his second and Lowe completed his hat-trick.
