Michael Turecki is celebrating landing his first piece of silverware of the new year.
Turecki triumphed in Ely Table Tennis Club’s Handicap Cup, seeing off the challenge of Simon Bickers, Simon Braschi and Andrew Blake to lift the trophy.
The doubles tournament was also a fiercely-contested affair, with the duo of Blake and Braschi making up for their singles losses with an overall victory.
Karen Byford scooped the player of the tournament gong for winning all of her group stage encounters, before coming unstuck in the last four.
