LITTLEPORT bowler Ellen Falkner was flushed with success after a stunning showing at the recent English Bowls Championships.
The Commonwealth Games gold medallist took victory in the two-wood singles event, women’s singles and mother and daughter pairs event at the championships, held in Leamington Spa.
The 32-year-old even saw off her gold-medal-winning partner from the Delhi games, Amy Gowshall, in an enthralling singles final to cap her hat-trick of wins.
Falkner saw off Brierly Park’s Jayne Croxall 21-5 in the quarter-finals before she breezed past Ann James of Downham Market 21-8, in the semi-final.
She teamed up with St Neots bowler Sue Alexander for the mother and daughter event, the pair beating Dawn and Joyce Hodgson of Maryport BC in Cumbria, 20-11.
