ELY brothers Joshua and Batiste Ogier, raised more than £2500 for Motor Neurone Disease after completing a gruelling triathlon.

The brothers, both former King's School pupils, took part in the 25 kilometre Blenheim Palace Triathlon in Oxfordshire last week, lining up against more than 3000 eager competitors.

No stranger to competitive swimming as a former county star, 31 year-old Joshua, raced around the track in a time of 1hour 28minutes. Younger brother Batiste, 28, meanwhile, managed 1hour 42 minutes, drawing on his days in running to bring him through the field.

The pair will be aiming to raise their total yet higher this August when they take part in the London Triathlon, an event that draws some of the biggest names in the sport. Anyone who wishes to sponsor the brothers can donate to their cause via: www.justgiving.com.
