Netball Ely Netball Club teamed up with clothing company the Stock Shop to raise funds for the Stroke Association.

Club member Anita Reidy, who also works for the Stock Shop, based in Market Street, Ely, was the driving force behind a charity tournament, which took place last Wednesday.

Mrs Reidy said: “The turnout out was tremendous for the Make May Purple tournament held at Witchford College.

“We would like to thank all that were involved and who made it a successful night in raising £274 for Stroke Association.”
