Woodbridge 12 Ely 19

ROB Malloy raced through four tackles to score the winning try in the dying minutes.

Ely faced an all-county back row but played without fear, and a Theo Ayres try gave them an early lead. The Woodbridge forwards aggressively asserted themselves though, and they went 7-5 up.

Ely responded with an onslaught of tackles and after some hard-hitting, fast-paced runs they managed to get in Woodbridge's 22-metre area. Tim Evans broke and popped the ball to Jerome Scott-Paul who touched down for a 12-7 Ely lead.

Woodbridge pulled level, but Ely put everything into the final minutes, and Molloy's class secured the points.
