A trio of Ely Sailing Club’s top young talent competed in the third round of the Cambs Youth League on Saturday at Hunts Sailing Club.

After the 41 competitors had completed three races, laser helms Chandler Stamford tied for first place with Jack Clarke, from the Hunts Club.

They both counted a first and second place but the tie was broken by their finishing positions in the last race which was won by Clarke.

Sailing a national twelve, Jack Knight and Mollie Lee finished third overall, counting a first and third place. Kirk Stamford, sailing a topper, finished 26th overall.
