Men's League

AFTER suffering their first defeats in the previous week, the top two both came back strongly, Soham A only dropping half a point in their two matches, while Newmarket were scoring a massive 181 shots. Fordham also had two wins and City of Ely picked up their only bonus points so far but could not get off the bottom of the table.

Ladies' League

ISLEHAM just missed out in the championship in 2006 but have made a good start this year. They are narrowly ahead of Newmarket - the only team to beat them - and Newmarket remain unbeaten. These two have opened up a gap above Stretham who had begun the season well but now have a shot's deficit after finishing 30 down at Fordham.

Afternoon League Division One

LITTLEPORT B are the early leaders, their 100 per cent record keeping them ahead of Bottisham A, followed by Soham who have played one game fewer. Newly promoted Hiam have only one win out of four and Willingham have yet to have their first success.

Afternoon League Division Two

FORDHAM B are the unbeaten front runners, ahead of Sutton who have taken advantage of three home fixtures to build up the best shots total. Newmarket B are faring better in the lower division. Haddenham B are struggling at the foot of the table just below Stretham who had their two matches cancelled.
