Artistic Roller Skating

SKATERS from Ely’s Artistic Roller Skating Club came away with some excellent results at a test day held in Littleport at the weekend.

The skaters were tasked with performing in front of a panel of independent judges at Littleport Leisure Centre, with several dancers successfully passing their levels and reaching the required standard in multiple disciplines.

Karis achieved her Grade 6, 7,8, and 9 in the figures free and dance section. Holly and Daisy achieved Grade 6 in the same category while Alethea achieved her Grade 7, 8 and 9.

Chloe earned her Grade 7, 8 and 9 in figures, free and dance, with Shana earning Grade 7, 8 and 9 in figures and free. Competing in the dance section, Tammy achieved her Grade 7, 8 and 9.

Chantel achieved her elementary award in figures, free and dance while Emily achieved a prelim in figures.

Sophie earned an inter bronze in free and inter silver in figures. Cathy took home an inter bronze and bronze in dance, Jessica-Ellen earned an inter bronze in dance and Zoe achieved an inter silver in dance.
