STRIKES ten-pin bowling team held their annual awards ceremony this week with all the club's best and brightest honoured.

More than a dozen young bowlers received awards for another season's hard work, with many also picking up individual awards in categories ranging from 'most improved bowler' to 'team of the year.'

Peter Elliot picked up the award for the highest male average at the club, an impressive 170, while Kayleigh Smith picked up the female award with 128.

Luke Griffiths was awarded the 'most improved bowler' gong while the Silly Pandas team secured the team knockout trophy.

The club's new league season begins next week and anyone under 18 interested in attending is welcomed. The clubs runs on Saturday mornings from 9.15am-11am at Strikes Bowling Centre in Ely.
